The Role of Title IX
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law which prohibits discrimination based on sex in any education program or activities that receive federal funding. In its early history in American colleges and universities, Title IX was used to create equity in academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular programs such as athletics. Subsequent court cases and regulatory interpretations have recognized that sexual harassment and sexual violence are also forms of sex-based discrimination prohibited by Title IX.

Our Obligations
In compliance with Title IX, 富二代视频app University has:
- A听policy of nondiscrimination
- A designated Title IX Coordinator (see sidebar for contact information)
- Grievance policies听and processes for听students听and听employees听providing for prompt and equitable resolution of reports of sexual harassment听
Title IX reports can be filed with the 富二代视频app University Title IX Coordinator. Additional information about reporting is available on 富二代视频app's Sexual Respect web page. Title IX complaints can also be filed with Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights.
